This exciting opportunity offers a chance to contribute to the development of go-based modules for a private cloud environment.

What You'll Be Doing

This role offers a multifaceted experience encompassing:

  • Development: Crafting core components of the project using Go.

  • Quality Assurance: Implementing robust testing and debugging strategies to ensure high-quality code.

  • CI/CD Pipeline Maintenance: Collaboratively maintaining and improving continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.

  • Code Review: Providing valuable feedback and expertise through code review processes.

Your Skillset

Percision seeks a candidate with the following qualifications:

Must-Haves:

  • Minimum 4 years of software development experience in Go, C/C++, or Python, with a focus on building RESTful services in distributed environments.

  • Note: The primary development language for this project is Go, and exclusive use of Go is expected.

  • Deep understanding of system programming concepts, including memory management, performance optimization, and low-level interaction.
  • Solid grasp of containerization and container orchestration using Kubernetes, encompassing application packaging and deployment customization.
  • Hands-on experience developing Kubernetes native operators (kubebuilder) and managing resources within the Kubernetes resource model (CRDs, CRs).
  • Familiarity with major cloud providers (GCP and others).

  • Applicants with experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Tekton, Argo Workflows, and Argo CD are highly encouraged.

  • Proven ability to write and maintain unit and integration tests, integrating them seamlessly into automated testing frameworks.

  • Comprehensive understanding of networking concepts, including protocols, load balancing, and security.

  • Fluent English, both written and spoken (C1 level minimum).

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to design for scalability and performance, considering load balancing, caching, and resource allocation.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills, with a dedication to clear knowledge sharing.

  • Agile and DevOps methodologies experience is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on root cause analysis and sustainable solutions.
